Welcome to Perth Airport's media centre.

Perth Airport requires prior notification of all filming and photography on the airport estate, including at the Public Viewing Area (located on Dunreath Drive).

Please contact the 24 hour Media Line on 9478 8877 (not for public calls) or email [email protected] for permission prior to your visit. 

If granted permission, you must specify the area in which you intend to photograph/film and provide a mobile contact number for the person on site.

South African Airways Celebrate 60 Years in Perth

In November 1957, South African Airways operated its inaugural flight to Perth using a Douglas D.C.7B with 65 passengers onboard. Flying time totalled 21 hours and two scheduled stops in Mauritius and Cocos Islands were required.
