Welcome to Perth Airport's media centre.

Perth Airport requires prior notification of all filming and photography on the airport estate, including at the Public Viewing Area (located on Dunreath Drive).

Please contact the 24 hour Media Line on 9478 8877 (not for public calls) or email [email protected] for permission prior to your visit. 

If granted permission, you must specify the area in which you intend to photograph/film and provide a mobile contact number for the person on site.

Emirates’ A380 double decker arrives in Perth

The world’s largest commercial aircraft, the majestic Airbus A380, will fly into Perth Airport for the first time today on a scheduled Emirates service, and will be welcomed by a VIP delegation and an impressive water cannon salute.

New Perth Airport access road opens

Perth Airport’s new 1.6 kilometre primary access road into the current Terminal 1 and 2 precinct - Airport Drive - opened today, marking a major milestone as part of Perth Airport’s commitment to improving the customer journey. To facilitate ongoing works associated with the Gateway WA project, Airport Drive has opened several months ahead of schedule.

ACCC Airport Monitoring Report released

Perth Airport has achieved an overall ‘satisfactory’ quality of service rating in the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s (ACCC) Airport Monitoring Report for 2013/14 and passengers rated Perth’s service quality as ‘good’. The report monitors the prices, profits and services of the four major Australian airports (Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney).

Forecourt project to deliver a great airport experience
