New Terminal
Perth Airport has committed to a multi-billion-dollar investment in new infrastructure projects that will deliver the long-awaited ‘one airport’ for the people of Western Australia and host all flight services in a central location, giving passengers a seamless, world-class travel experience.
As part of the consolidation of all commercial flight services into the Airport Central precinct, Perth Airport has commenced the design process for the New Terminal which includes an expansion of the existing T1 International facilities and construction of a new domestic terminal for the relocation of Qantas Group operations.
In accordance with the Airports Act 1996 (Cth), Perth Airport is required to prepare a Major Development Plan to submit to the Federal Infrastructure Minister for their consideration. The Major Development Plan outlines the project and what will be done to mitigate or manage any potential impacts.
The Preliminary Draft Major Development Plan for Perth’s New Terminal is now available for a 60-business day public comment period. Your feedback is an important part of the Major Development Plan process. Perth Airport will consider all submissions and, where appropriate, will update the Major Development Plan before it is presented to the Minister.
