Jetstar is moving to Terminal 2
All Jetstar international services will remain at T1 International.
Jetstar has historically been operating its domestic operations from Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 so this will mean all Jetstar operations are now within the Airport Central precinct at Perth Airport.
Perth Airport CEO Jason Waters said customers should check which terminal they are flying from and get to the airport early.
“If you are travelling to Perth Airport for a departing flight – please plan your journey, allow extra time and double-check your itinerary to make sure you are heading to the right terminal.
“When planning your journey to the airport there are a number of options to consider – the Airport Central train station provides access to a skybridge that connects you directly to the front of Terminal 1.
“You can also book your parking ahead of time in any of our Long-Term Car Parks – which will provide you with discounts while ensuring you have a bay in the right precinct when you arrive.
“It is an exciting time with numerous projects underway at the Airport Central precinct which will see the realisation of Perth Airport’s vision of consolidating all commercial air services into the central precinct.
“Works are underway to improve traffic flow along the T2 forecourt and provide more seating capacity within the terminal. We have also begun construction of our first multi-storey car park within the existing T1 Short Term Park.
“As always with construction works in an operating environment – there may be impacts to our passengers, so we recommend allowing extra time when travelling through Perth Airport.”
Meeters and greeters are also reminded to double check which terminal they are picking their passenger up from.
