All Nippon Airways (ANA) returns with Tokyo-Perth service
29 October, 2023
All Nippon Airways’ (ANA) service between Tokyo and Perth has recommenced operations at Perth Airport.
The flight will recommence as a seasonal service until late March 2024 and resume in October 2024 with the intention of ramping up to a year-round service.
“It’s great to see the return of ANA to Perth after three years,” said Kate Holsgrove, Acting CEO Perth Airport.
“When the Perth-Tokyo service was first launched in 2019 it was incredibly popular for both outbound and inbound travellers and we’re confident that it will prove popular again.
“Covid had a devasting impact on many airlines but we remain committed to working with the team at ANA to rebuilding this route so we can deliver a year-round service from October next year.
“The return of ANA is another success story for the Team Perth approach of working with tourism, businesses, exporters, and the State Government to grow the aviation sector in Western Australia.
“Perth Airport is focused on delivering more international flights for Western Australia and looks forward to working with the Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti to further connect Perth and Western Australia to the world.
ANA will operate the Tokyo Narita (NRT) and Perth (PER) service three times a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
