AirAsia last operated this service on the 20 of March 2020, with the flight recommencing on Sunday 15 May 2022.
Perth Airport CEO, Kevin Brown said it was fantastic to see another airline partner return.“The past two years has been extremely tough for the aviation industry, but things are starting to look up.
“AirAsia Indonesia's resumption of Bali services on the A320-200 aircraft is great news for travellers as it provides more choice for travel with great value airfares.
“Pre-Covid, AirAsia was offering three daily service to Bali Denpasar, and we are looking forward to working with the airline to increase its services in the coming months as more people seek out a winter travel escape and reconnect with Perth’s favourite tropical island destination.“We are also working with our airline partners to establish connections to other important and desirable destinations within Indonesia.”
